Methodology

At Mountain Spring Psychology, I provide a thoughtful and empathetic approach to Individual Therapy, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Attachment Theory (follow the links for more information on these modalities).
 
My aim is to create a safe space where individuals can explore their thoughts and feelings openly. Together, we will examine how your personal experiences shape your current emotional landscape, fostering greater self-awareness and acceptance. By focusing on your values, we will develop actionable steps towards living a more fulfilling life.
 
Our sessions will prioritize two key objectives: First, we will identify and understand the underlying patterns that may hinder your well-being, helping you cultivate resilience. Second, we will implement strategies that promote mindfulness, enhance emotional regulation, and empower you to embrace change.
 
I work with individuals facing various challenges, such as:
- Anxiety: Managing overwhelming feelings or panic.
- Depression: Coping with persistent sadness or lack of motivation.
- Self-Esteem Issues: Developing a healthier self-image and confidence.
